Help with pistol info
 

So I got my shotgun/rifle permit for NYC. Now I'm about to apply for a pistol license. I highly doubt I will get a carry license, more likely a license to store it at home, and transport to and from the range.

I'm looking for advice. Any gotchas, things I should know about before submitting the application and needed info/docs/etc?

For a carry license, how much money does one need to be dealing with? I believe you need to prove that you transport relatively large amounts of money. I was not able to find what the qualifications are.

Sorry, if you're staying by the big city you won't be able to carry.....count on it(unless proof of life threatened etc....).

I gotta be outta my county to stand a chance at a ccw. I would think NY would be at least the same if not worse.

With the pistol here it's just a common sense 25 question test. You pass you can purchase a handgun....if you're knowledgable enough on the subject than you can open carry(legally).
